Outside my window...
It is a cold misty evening. Not going to warm up anytime soon. Blah and dreary.
I am thinking...
about all that needs to be done this week. And that I need to make myself exercise again now that I am back at work.
I am thankful...
for my moms group, hot baths and friends to have dinner with.
In the kitchen...
I made a celery root apple pistachio salad tonight for dinner, with a lemon garlic dressing. It was really good. I actually added more apple to it tonight and I am going to have the leftovers for lunch. It was really good.
I am wearing...
flannel pj pants, a youth ministry tshirt and socks
I am creating...
a new schedule for the GirlChild and I.
I am going...
to finish my summer calendar and get all the forms published and on the web. I am also going to get back to the gym. It is a matter of scheduling.
I am wondering...
how my assistant is doing. She is due to have her 5th baby any day now.
Preaching with Power and Why Nobody Learns Much Of Anything At Church are my school reading list right now. My friends have been reading Daring Greatly and love it, so I downloaded it and have it waiting for some free time to read.
I am hoping...
that the Girl Child stays positive about school and sets up some better study habits.
I am looking forward to...
crawling under the covers and calling it a night tonight. It has been a long 48 hours.
I am learning...
to be calm and quiet and give instructions far in advance when Ursula is learning to drive.
Around the house...
I have no motivation and the weather is not helping.
I am pondering...
All that I am processing from my sabbatical. I have been making a list and want to write a little about each part.
A favorite quote for today...
"I'd rather have an idea that fails than a faith that doesn't try." Bob Goff
One of my favorite things...
homework being done for the night.
A few plans for the rest of the week:
lunch with a good friend tomorrow, lots of reading and calendaring at work and making sure I keep caught up in my sleep.
A peek into my day...
I love Disney World. My favorite Disney character is Rafiki from the Lion King.

All of your goals sound like you are on the right track.....you're right the weather does have and affect on our energy and our mood....I just read about seasonal affective disorder.I know I've suffered from this in the past and have to work hard to keep from letting it get to me again...
I helped teach my two drive and then they took drivers ed in school...luckily we lived in a rural area at the time and I could just take them to a deserted road and let them loose....it took my son 3 tries to pass his test, though.
Blessings,
Mama Bear
