Sunday Daybooking

Welcome to my Sunday Daybook. A chance for me to reflect intentionally on what is going on in my world each week. You can check out other daybookers here.Align Left

Outside my window … It's foggy and humid outside. A thunderstorm blew in today and it has been trying to rain all night.

I am thankful for... a great first week of 2012. Most nights of sleeping, healthy eating and moving more.

I am hoping … for a productive week both at the office and at home. Lots to do between now and next Sunday.

On my mind … not much. I have had one of those 15 hour work days today with all three sets of children and youth and my brain is mushy.

Noticing that ... the extra sleep at night and the healthy eating is paying of in my productivity and energy. I am starting some new vitamins this week too, with extra vitamin B so maybe it will be even better!

A few plans for the week… painting kitchen cabinets, writing thank you notes, 4 classes that I am teaching and 2 classes that I am taking.

From the kitchen …It is a mess. I am in the middle of painting and reorganizing the whole shooting match to make it more efficient. Hopefully finished by the end of the week.

Around the house …If Ursula finishes cleaning her room this week, then we will begin her room re-do also. A teenage update. I found a bed on clearance at Ikea and we are actually going to get her a dresser. She has some new posters to go up on the walls and we will be making many runs to Goodwill.

One of my favorite things …have you watched Decoded on the History channel? It is one of my favorite shows right now.

A picture I am sharing ...Today we celebrated the Epiphany and the Baptism of Jesus. Of course we had the wise men and their camels come!
