The New Pantry

I have good friends. Even better, I have good friends with carpenter skills. I wanted to try and do something with the space I had in between my fridge and the wall. It was wasted space.

So I started out at Lowe's with just this.

Luckily, the guy working in the lumber department was awesome. We pre cut all the shelves and the back board which is tile board. With all the hardware and lumber it was $48.54. I decided to use the paint I already had from painting the kitchen.

Then I went over to my friends house who has great tools. We laid everything out.

And then it was a matter of just getting it all assembled. In just 3 hours we had this. That was with an almost 3 year olds interruptions.

I took it home and painted it.

And then I attached the tile board, put on a handle and figured out how to put a stop on the edge so it wouldn't roll too far back.
Then it was a matter of putting in the dowels and filling it up!

I love it!
Be God's!
