Argh! It's the most wonderful time of the year! Here's what's up in Molly's world...
Ursula's sister, Mary, is in for the week. It has been many late nights, movie watching, shopping and giggling. Medicine for the girl child's soul.
We go to visit four of the siblings later this week. Heaven help all of us when we do this. It will be a cookie making extravaganza! I am looking forward to seeing their faces together and celebrating family.
Because of course we have to celebrate family up in Dallas too!
I am hoping to make it to Dallas by Friday afternoon lunch. There is a food truck meet up and one of my former students has a Italian friggatoria that she runs with her Italian husband and brothers-in-law. It will be good to see them again.
We have been living in the kitchen this week. Homemade York peppermint patties and Reece's peanut butter cups, kolache, tamales, cookies, and bread. I am glad we have the slow cooker or we would never have food. The oven has been in constant use.
My allergies are in full swing. Of course a front full of cedar pollen blew in this week. My head is ready to explode. I guess I should warn you about the food. I have been taking cold medicine all week and goodness knows how that has affected my recipe reading!
I am finally getting used to my iphone. Somehow, my contacts got loaded in, I'm still not sure how, but it is working. I'll take it. It is nice to have all the apps available.
Ursula has discovered Skype. Will our life ever be the same?
I love Christmas music. My favorite album right now? Crowder's "Oh For Joy" My favorite song? Shane and Shane's "O Holy Night."
My office is still mostly clean. It might be a record. At least a personal best. I still don't have all the old pictures up or lightbulbs in my lamps.
Happy Fourth Week of Advent!
Be God's!
